Do you qualify?
Anyone who indirectly purchased canned or pouched tuna products in containers smaller than forty ounces for personal consumption (not resale) between June 1, 2011 and July 1, 2015, and resided in Arizona, Arkansas, California, District of Columbia, Florida, Guam, Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wisconsin.
How to file
The deadline to file a claim was December 31, 2024, which has now passed. If you previously filed a claim in the COSI Settlement, you did not need to file another claim. If you did not submit a valid Claim Form by December 31, 2024, you will not receive a payment but will be bound by the Court's judgment. Payments for approved claims are anticipated during the third quarter of 2026.
