The defendant broadcasters allegedly engaged in a conspiracy to fix, raise, maintain, or stabilize the price levels of broadcast television spot advertising. Sales Rep Firms and other entities allegedly facilitated the exchange of communication between the broadcasters. Class members claim they paid artificially inflated prices as a result. The settling defendants deny all wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid further litigation costs and risk.
