Beef Antitrust Settlement

Several beef processors including JBS, Cargill, National Beef, and Tyson Foods allegedly conspired to limit the supply of beef and increase prices. They allegedly entered into a market allocation agreement and stopped competing against each other, with the purpose and effect of increasing their profit margins and the price consumers paid for beef.
