What happened
Bed Bath & Beyond passed a resolution to terminate its 401(k) Savings Plan in 2023. A Market Value Adjustment was applied to the Plan's interest in the MassMutual Guaranteed Interest Account, which resulted in adjustments to participant account balances. The settlement addresses these adjustments to participants' retirement plan accounts.
Do you qualify?
All participants in the Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. 401(k) Savings Plan in 2023 whose individual Plan accounts were adjusted by any amount due to the Market Value Adjustment, along with their Beneficiaries and Alternate Payees of record (excluding Defendants).
How to file
You have three options: (1) Submit a Rollover Form by October 9, 2025 to receive your settlement share as a direct rollover to an IRA or qualified employer plan (call 1-888-753-5197 or access Important Case Documents for the form), (2) Do nothing and the Settlement Administrator will mail your check directly, or (3) Object by September 18, 2025 by filing with the Court Clerk and mailing copies to Class Counsel and Defense Counsel. Payments are made only after final court approval.
