What happened
In September 2017, Equifax experienced a data breach affecting approximately 147 million people's personal information. A federal court approved a class action settlement to resolve lawsuits brought by consumers. Equifax denied any wrongdoing and no judgment or finding of wrongdoing was made.
Do you qualify?
Anyone whose personal information was impacted by the Equifax September 2017 data breach. Class members are eligible for free credit monitoring services, cash reimbursement for out-of-pocket losses and time spent (with claims deadlines passed), and 7 years of free identity restoration services.
How to file
All claim filing deadlines have passed as of January 22, 2024. Class members can no longer file new claims for out-of-pocket losses, time spent, credit monitoring, or alternative compensation. However, eligible class members may still access 7 years of free identity restoration services available for 7 years after January 11, 2022, whether or not they filed a claim.

AGC America Data Breach Settlement
In December 2023, a third party conducted a targeted cyberattack on AGC America's systems and gained unauthorized access to personal information. The compromised data may have included names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account information, passports, payment card numbers, and health insurance plan enrollment information. AGC denies any wrongdoing.
