What happened
Olympus America allegedly misclassified sales representatives as overtime-exempt (salaried) employees during new hire sales training while they worked more than 40 hours per week reviewing training materials and studying for exams, and failed to pay overtime compensation. Olympus denies the allegations and maintains proper classification and compensation at all times.
Do you qualify?
Olympus sales representatives who, regardless of title, engaged in new hire sales training in California between December 9, 2020 and July 7, 2025, or anywhere else in the United States between July 1, 2022 and July 7, 2025.
