What happened
On February 22, 2023, Peerstar experienced a cyberattack that compromised personal information of current and former patients, including names, Social Security numbers, government-issued IDs, financial account numbers, credit/debit card numbers, dates of birth, and health insurance information. Peerstar denies wrongdoing and says it has meritorious defenses, but is settling to resolve the disputed claims.

You are eligible if you are an individual residing in the United States whose personal information was compromised in the February 2023 Peerstar security incident and who received notice of the breach.
How to file
Submit a claim form online or by mail postmarked no later than January 30, 2026. You must document ordinary losses (fraud, identity theft, professional fees, credit monitoring costs) up to $500, lost time spent dealing with the incident, and/or extraordinary expenses up to $5,000.
