OptumRx TCPA Clinical Adherence Calls Settlement
OptumRx, Inc. placed clinical adherence calls using artificial or prerecorded voices to cellular telephone numbers and VOIP lines of non-customers, other than prescription refill reminders or COVID-19 vaccine calls, from April 20, 2020 through October 22, 2025. Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center (SBCC) Use of Force Settlement
The Massachusetts Department of Correction is accused of using unconstitutional force against approximately 150 incarcerated individuals at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center between January 10, 2020, and February 6, 2020. The lawsuit also alleges that correction officers discriminated against Black and Latinx incarcerated individuals during this period.
