AXA Equitable COI Settlement

AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company allegedly breached contracts with owners of Athena Universal Life II policies by imposing a cost of insurance rate increase announced in October 2015. The company allegedly concealed plans for the rate increase in policy illustrations from 2006 onwards until the increase was announced. AXA Equitable denies these allegations.
