What happened
Aetna and Optum allegedly violated ERISA by imposing administrative fees on members of health benefit plans administered by Aetna for chiropractic and physical therapy services. Defendants deny the allegations but agreed to settle the lawsuit to resolve the matter.
Do you qualify?
Members of health benefit plans administered by Aetna that were covered by ERISA who received chiropractic or physical therapy services after July 12, 2012, and were improperly charged an administrative fee. This includes both plan members who paid extra out-of-pocket (Member Class) and plans themselves that paid more than they should have (Plan Class).

Class members do not need to do anything to be included in the settlement. Eligible members' portions will be calculated based on Aetna's records and any records you submit.
