What happened
Aetna and Optum allegedly violated ERISA by imposing administrative fees on chiropractic and physical therapy claims under health benefit plans. The defendants imposed fees for administrative services that plaintiffs argue plan members and plans should not have had to pay. Defendants deny all claims but agreed to settle.
