What you can claim

• Ordinary Losses (out-of-pocket expenses)

  $300 each

  Class members who incurred actual, documented out-of-pocket expenses due to the Data Security Incident between February 11, 2025, and August 26, 2026, can be reimbursed for expenses like credit report fees, ID replacement costs, and postage. Reimbursement requires documentation substantiating the expenses.

• Extraordinary Losses (identity theft or fraud)

  $5,000 each

  Class members who lost money because of identity theft or fraud probably caused by the Data Security Incident can be reimbursed up to $5,000.00, provided they attempted to prevent the loss or recover money and the losses occurred between February 11, 2025, and August 26, 2026. Documentation is required.

• Compensation for Lost Time

  $100 each

  Class members who spent time responding to the Data Security Incident may claim up to four hours at $25.00 per hour for a maximum of $100.00 by describing how they spent the time on tasks related to the incident.

• Alternative Cash Payment

  $75 each

  Instead of claiming individual benefits, class members may claim a one-time cash payment expected to be $75.00, with no proof or explanation required. The actual amount may be larger or smaller depending on total claims filed.

Who is in the class

All individuals residing in the United States whose Personal Information was compromised in the Data Security Incident discovered by KYB in February 2025, including those individuals who received notice of the breach.

How to file

Submit a Claim Form either online at the settlement website, by mailing a downloaded form to the Settlement Administrator, or by calling or emailing the Settlement Administrator to request a paper copy. The deadline to submit a claim is August 26, 2026.
