Panda Restaurant Group Data Breach Settlement

What happened

In or around March 2024, an unauthorized third party may have gained access to Panda Restaurant Group's files containing sensitive personal information, including full names, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers. The defendant denies any wrongdoing and denies liability, but has agreed to settle the lawsuit on a class-wide basis.

Do you qualify?

Settlement Class Members are those who may have been affected by the March 2024 data security incident at Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. Additional cash payments are available for California residents.

What you can claim

• Pro Rata Cash Payment

  $100 each

  A pro rata cash payment estimated at $100 but may be adjusted upward or downward based on the number of other claims made and the amount remaining in the Settlement Fund.

• California Statutory Cash Payment

  $125 each

  A California statutory payment estimated at $125 for Settlement Class Members who reside in California, but may be adjusted upward or downward based on the amount remaining in the Settlement Fund.

• Credit Monitoring

  Two years of Credit Monitoring including real time monitoring by all three credit bureaus, dark web scanning with immediate notifications, public records monitoring, identity theft insurance, and access to fraud resolution agents to assist in the event of actual fraud or identity theft.

Who is in the class

All persons who reside in the United States and whose Personal Information was accessed or potentially accessed in connection with the Security Incident, including if they were mailed a notification by or on behalf of Defendant regarding the Security Incident, excluding employees, directors, officers, and agents of Defendant; governmental entities; the Judge assigned to the Action, that Judge's immediate family, and Court staff; and Settlement Class Members who submit a valid request to be excluded from the Settlement.

How to file

Submit a Claim Form by April 10, 2026 (postmarked or submitted by this date). You can file a claim on the settlement website. Claimants seeking documented loss reimbursement must provide supporting documentation for losses up to $5,000.
