Parks Heritage Federal Credit Union Data Breach Settlement

What happened

Parks Heritage Federal Credit Union suffered a targeted cyberattack in July 2024 that accessed files containing private member information including names, Social Security numbers, financial information, and credit card/debit card numbers. Parks Heritage denies wrongdoing, and the parties have agreed to settle the lawsuit to avoid the costs and uncertainties of continuing litigation.

Do you qualify?

Class members whose records are held by Parks Heritage Federal Credit Union and who had personal information accessed in the July 2024 cyberattack. Parks Heritage's records indicate whether you are a Class Member entitled to benefits.

What you can claim

• Documented Losses Reimbursement

  $4,500 each

  Reimbursement for actual, unreimbursed, documented out-of-pocket losses due to the Data Security Incident that occurred between July 17, 2024, and September 8, 2026. Losses can include identity theft/fraud expenses, credit-related fees, professional fees, ID replacement costs, and postage. Proof such as bank statements or receipts is required.

• Reimbursement for Lost Time

  $100 each

  Class Members who spent time responding to the Data Security Incident may claim reimbursement at $25.00 per hour for up to four hours, for a maximum of $100.00. Time must be spent on tasks related to the Data Security Incident such as changing passwords, investigating suspicious activity, or researching the incident. This reimbursement is subject to the $4,500 cap on documented losses.

• Alternative Cash Payment

  $75 each

  A one-time cash payment of $75 available to Class Members instead of any documented losses or lost time reimbursement. No proof or explanation is required to claim this payment.

Who is in the class

All individuals residing in the United States whose Personal Information was compromised in the Data Security Incident experienced by Parks Heritage Federal Credit Union which began on or around July 17, 2024, until July 27, 2024, including all those who received notice of the Data Security Incident.

How to file

Submit a Claim Form by September 8, 2026. You can submit it online at the settlement website, download it and mail it to the Settlement Administrator, or call/email the Settlement Administrator to request a paper copy.
