Self Esteem Brands Data Breach Settlement

What happened

Self Esteem Brands experienced a cybersecurity incident occurring on or around December 19, 2023, and continuing until June 6, 2024. Certain files containing personal information were potentially accessed, including names, Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, driver's license numbers, state identification numbers, passport and government identification numbers, financial account information, payment card information, health information, and health insurance information.

Do you qualify?

Individuals whose personal information was potentially accessed during the Self Esteem Brands cybersecurity incident that occurred from approximately December 19, 2023, through June 6, 2024.

What you can claim

• Credit Monitoring Services

  Two years of credit monitoring services from a credit agency, including $1 million of identity theft protection insurance. All Class Members are eligible to enroll.

• Documented Extraordinary Losses (Identity Theft or Fraud)

  $5,000 each

  Reimbursement for losses from identity theft or fraud caused by the Security Incident. Requires proof that the theft or fraud was more likely than not caused by the Security Incident and that losses are not already covered by Ordinary Losses.

• Compensation for Lost Time

  $80 each

  Compensation for time spent responding to the Security Incident, including changing passwords, investigating suspicious activity, or researching the Security Incident. Compensated at $20.00 per hour for up to four hours.

• Alternative Cash Payment

  $25 each

  A one-time flat cash payment available instead of Option 1 benefits. No proof or explanation required to claim this payment.

Who is in the class

All living individuals residing in the United States whose Personal Information may have been compromised in the Security Incident discovered by Self Esteem Brands in June 2024, including all those who were notified of the Security Incident.

How to file

Submit a valid Claim Form by December 31, 2025. You can submit your Claim Form online at the settlement website, download it and mail it to the Settlement Administrator, or call or email the Settlement Administrator to receive a paper copy.
