A cyber-attack on Simpson Strong-Tie beginning on or around October 9, 2023, resulted in an unknown actor gaining access to the company's systems and downloading certain files containing personal identifiable information of current and former Simpson Strong-Tie employees. Simpson Strong-Tie denies all claims and charges of wrongdoing but has agreed to the settlement to avoid the costs and risks of continuing the case.

Any individual residing in the United States to whom Simpson Strong-Tie or its authorized representative sent a notice of a data security incident discovered on or about October 10, 2023, in connection with the data breach.
How to file
Submit a valid and timely Claim Form either online through the settlement website or by downloading and mailing it to the Claims Administrator, or call/email the Claims Administrator for a paper copy. The claim deadline is February 19, 2026.
