Do you qualify?
Anyone whose personal information may have been compromised in the data breach discovered by The May Institute in or about December 2023. The settlement excludes the judge and court staff, The May Institute's current officers and directors, and individuals found criminally responsible for the data breach.
How to file
File a valid claim form by August 7, 2025. Eligible Class Members were mailed notice of their eligibility by the Settlement Administrator. To receive benefits, you must submit documentation of your losses (for out-of-pocket or identity theft losses) or elect to receive the $50 cash payment in lieu of other benefits.
