What happened
Defendants allegedly violated Oklahoma law by failing to pay statutory interest on late oil production proceeds. The Oklahoma Production Revenue Standards Act requires oil and gas companies to pay proceeds within certain time periods and to pay 6-12% interest for late payments, but Defendants allegedly refused to pay this interest unless owners made a demand. Defendants deny any wrongdoing.
Do you qualify?
Anyone who received late payments from the Defendants for oil proceeds from Oklahoma wells on or after July 7, 2012, and has not already been paid statutory interest on those late payments. Excluded are US/state agencies, publicly traded oil and gas companies, and certain other entities.
