What happened
Missouri Fiesta, Inc. and W&M Restaurants, Inc. allegedly violated the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) by collecting finger scan data from employees who used their Point-of-Sale System in Illinois without providing written notice, obtaining written consent, or issuing a written biometric policy. The defendants deny all allegations and admit no wrongdoing.
