What happened
Athena Bitcoin, Inc. sent telemarketing text messages to Florida residents who had requested that messages stop. Class Representative Keon Jackson alleged that Athena sent, or caused to be sent, text messages to people who requested those messages stop.
Do you qualify?
You are an FTSA Settlement Class Member if you were a Florida resident between July 1, 2021 and August 20, 2024, sent the message "stop" to Athena, and received at least one text message from Athena more than 15 days after your stop request.
How to file
Submit a timely and valid Claim Form online or mail a completed paper Claim Form postmarked by June 30, 2026. You must be an FTSA Settlement Class Member who sent a "stop" request and received continuing text messages from Athena after that request.
