What happened

The Money Source, Inc. allegedly placed prerecorded and artificial voice telephone calls to class members' cellular phones after they requested that the company stop calling. The company is accused of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The Money Source denies wrongdoing and asserts it acted in good faith to comply with all relevant laws.

Anyone in the United States or its territories who received a call from The Money Source using an artificial or prerecorded voice on a cellular phone after they requested the company stop calling them, from February 6, 2019 through May 7, 2025, and whose number appears in the company's business records.

Who is in the class

All persons throughout the United States or its territories (1) to whom Defendant placed, or caused to be placed, a call, (2) directed to a number assigned to a cellular telephone service , (3) in connection with which Defendant used an artificial or prerecorded voice, (4) after the called party requested that Defendant stop placing telephone calls using an artificial or prerecorded voice to their cellular telephone, as recorded in Defendant's business records, (5) from February 6, 2019 through May 7, 2025.
