What happened
Panera discovered a security incident on March 23, 2024, where an unauthorized third party gained access to certain information including names and Social Security Numbers of Panera's current and former employees, as well as a small number of customers, contractors, and other individuals. Panera denies wrongdoing and liability but has agreed to settle the lawsuit on a classwide basis.
Do you qualify?
Anyone who previously received a notice letter from Panera about the security incident discovered in March 2024 is a Settlement Class Member eligible for compensation.
How to file
Submit a Claim Form online at the settlement website or mail a completed paper Claim Form postmarked no later than November 11, 2025. Claimants must provide documentation of their losses (Ordinary Out-of-Pocket Losses up to $500, Extraordinary Losses up to $6,500, time spent up to $250, and/or California Statutory Payment up to $100).
