What happened
Walmart and its check processor TeleCheck allegedly violated check processing disclosure requirements by not adequately informing customers that they could incur multiple bank fees for insufficient funds, causing class members to incur these fees. Under the proposed settlement, Walmart will update its check payment disclosures at all stores to warn customers of potential multiple bank fees.
