What happened
From June 2011 to July 2015, defendants participated in an unlawful conspiracy to raise, fix, maintain, or stabilize the price of canned and pouched tuna products at artificially high levels in violation of antitrust and unfair competition laws. Defendants deny many allegations but agreed to settle to avoid further litigation, trial risks, and costs.
Do you qualify?
Anyone who resided in specified U.S. states and territories (Arizona, Arkansas, California, District of Columbia, Florida, Guam, Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wisconsin) and indirectly purchased canned or pouched tuna in containers smaller than 40 ounces for personal consumption (not for resale) between June 1, 2011 and July 1, 2015.
How to file
Claims were required to be submitted online or postmarked by December 31, 2024. This deadline has passed. If you filed a claim in the previous COSI Settlement, no additional claim was needed. The deadline to file new claims is now closed and no further claims will be accepted.
