SouthState Bank Data Breach Settlement

Storr Data Settlement

Storr Office Environments, Inc. experienced a data security incident affecting customers' personal information, which was discovered in May 2024. Class members' personal information was potentially compromised in this breach.

Jennings v. America First Credit Union - Wage & Hour Settlement

America First Credit Union allegedly failed to pay branch employees for all hours worked, including overtime hours and time spent on pre-shift duties like opening procedures and logging in. AFCU denies the allegations and maintains it properly compensated employees. The parties settled to avoid further litigation, with no ruling on the merits and no party prevailing.

EEOC v. Nevada Restaurant Services, Inc. Sexual Harassment Settlement

The EEOC alleged that Nevada Restaurant Services, Inc. violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act by subjecting female and male employees to unlawful sexual harassment and constructive discharge between January 1, 2019 and October 14, 2025.

Darling v. West Coast Self Storage Unpaid Overtime Settlement

West Coast Self Storage Group allegedly failed to pay property managers for all hours worked and failed to include certain non-discretionary bonuses in calculating overtime wages in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. The company denies the allegations and settled to avoid litigation costs.

Christopher v. Box, Inc. – Fair Labor Standards Act Settlement

Box allegedly failed to properly include the value of Restricted Stock Units in the regular rate of pay when calculating overtime payments for non-exempt employees and Outbound Business Representatives. Box denies the allegations and maintains it complied with all applicable wage and hour laws. The parties agree there is a good faith dispute over whether Box properly calculated the regular rate of pay and paid all hours worked.

Paid Estimated settlement payment based on the number of applicable weeks employed as a Non-Exempt Employee or Outbound Business Representative during the relevant settlement period. Half will be subject to payroll tax deductions; the other half treated as non-wage income without withholdings (reported on Form 1099).

Bower v. Brodart Co. Data Breach Settlement

Brodart Co. experienced a targeted cyberattack on its computer systems in October 2023 that resulted in unauthorized access to certain files containing private information including names, addresses, dates of birth, identification numbers, financial account information, credit card numbers, phone numbers, medical information, and Social Security numbers.
