Shannondell denies these claims. This settlement avoids the costs and risks of continued litigation and provides $4.4 million in relief to the class.

MOVEit Customer Data Security Breach Settlement

Cadence Bank used a third-party file transfer application called MOVEit Transfer that had a security vulnerability. This vulnerability led to a data breach between May 28, 2023 and May 31, 2023, where personally identifying information of customers was compromised. Cadence began notifying affected individuals in September 2023.

First Chatham Bank Data Breach Settlement

First Chatham Bank suffered a targeted cyberattack on its computer systems in September 2024. Certain files containing private information such as names, addresses, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, and payment card information were accessed. The defendant denies wrongdoing, and the court has not decided the case.

Sartan Medications Settlement - Valsartan, Losartan, and Irbesartan

Multiple pharmaceutical manufacturers sold blood pressure medications (Valsartan, Losartan, and Irbesartan) that allegedly contained contamination with probable human carcinogens including N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA), nitrosamine impurities, and NMBA. The defendants have denied wrongdoing and denied that the contamination amounts were carcinogenic.

NCAA Volunteer Coaches Lawsuit Settlement

The NCAA and its Division I member schools allegedly agreed through NCAA bylaws to prohibit paying compensation or benefits to volunteer coaches, which Plaintiffs claim was an illegal wage-fixing conspiracy under the Sherman Act. Volunteer coaches during the class period claim they were injured by this alleged conspiracy and seek damages based on what their compensation would have been absent the illegal agreement.

Loomis Armored BIPA Settlement

Loomis Armored US, LLC allegedly collected biometric information (internal vehicle camera footage) from employees driving company vehicles in Illinois without first obtaining their written consent, in violation of the Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA).

Leasing Expenses Co. Restitution

On November 23, 2020, the New York State Attorney General filed a lawsuit alleging that Leasing Expenses Co. and NLS Equipment Finance were continuing illegal collection practices against consumers. They were collecting payments on leases that a court had previously cancelled in a case against affiliated company Northern Leasing Systems, and were using fraud and deceptive practices that targeted many of the same victims. The court ordered them to stop these practices and return all money collected on the unlawful leases.

EEOC v. Columbia University Employment Discrimination Settlement

The EEOC charged Columbia University with unlawful employment practices by subjecting employees to harassment and discrimination based on their religion (Jewish), race (Jewish), and/or national origin (Israeli) in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Columbia University has agreed to settle this charge by establishing a $21 million settlement fund.

Essen Medical Data Breach Settlement

Essen Medical Associates experienced unauthorized access to its data environment between March 14, 2023, and March 22, 2023, which compromised personal information of patients. Essen denies all wrongdoing and liability.

General Physician Data Breach Settlement

General Physician, P.C. experienced a cybersecurity incident between April 6, 2024 and June 12, 2024 that resulted in potential unauthorized access to or acquisition of patients' private information including names, addresses, Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical history, and health insurance information.

Port Liberté Settlement

Owners and residents of condominium units at Port Liberté in Jersey City, New Jersey claimed that industrial operations at nearby Claremont Terminal produced noise, odors, light, air pollution, fires, and explosions that decreased their property values and interfered with their use and enjoyment of their units. The defendants deny all liability but have agreed to establish a settlement fund and undertake remedial measures at their facilities.

Paid Payment amounts will be based on the number of settlement shares allocated to each Class Member and depend on four things: (1) whether you owned or leased the unit; (2) the number of years that you owned or leased the unit and resided in the unit; (3) the building in which the unit is located; and (4) the number of other Claimants.

AlphaCentric Income Opportunities Fund Securities Settlement

AlphaCentric Income Opportunities Fund investors allege they were harmed through misrepresentations or improper conduct related to shares of the Fund. The defendants deny any wrongdoing but have agreed to settle for $20 million plus interest.

Catalent Securities Settlement

Vega v. Metropolitan Direct Property and Casualty Insurance Company Settlement

Metropolitan Direct allegedly reduced or "offset" underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) claims by the amount insureds received from the at-fault driver's insurer. The settlement provides refunds to affected policyholders and those who purchased UM/UIM coverage during the class period.

Kevin Galindo v. Infiniti of Clarendon Hills - TCPA Settlement

Infiniti of Clarendon Hills, Inc. allegedly sent text messages and calls to consumers selling its products or services while their telephone numbers were on the National Do Not Call Registry for at least 30 days, in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Infiniti denies all allegations and admits no wrongdoing.

St. Andrew's Resources for Seniors System Data Breach Settlement

Los Angeles Times Privacy Tracker Settlement

Los Angeles Times Communications LLC installed and used three trackers—TripleLift Tracker, GumGum Tracker, and Audiencerate Tracker—on website visitors' internet browsers without consent, allegedly violating California's Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA). The company has agreed to settle the class action lawsuit.

Galderma Laboratories manufactured Differin branded acne treatment products containing benzoyl peroxide. AMEX Antitrust Settlement

American Express had rules in its merchant agreements that prohibited merchants from encouraging customers to pay with a different card that charged lower fees. Plaintiffs alleged these anti-steering rules caused merchants to raise prices to cover Amex fees, resulting in all customers—including those not using Amex cards—paying more. American Express denies wrongdoing.

Norton Healthcare Data Breach Settlement

Norton Healthcare, Inc. and Norton Hospitals, Inc. experienced a data incident on or around May 9, 2023, that resulted in the potential exposure of confidential personal information of the company's current and former patients and employees. The defendants have agreed to settle a class action lawsuit related to this breach.

301 Scrubs Data Breach Settlement

In June 2024, 301 Scrubs experienced a targeted cyberattack on its computer systems that resulted in unauthorized access to files containing private information. The files potentially contained personal information such as names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and employee identification numbers. 301 Scrubs denies wrongdoing, and the court has not decided the merits.

Discover Card Merchant Class Action Settlement

Discover allegedly misclassified certain Discover-issued consumer credit cards as commercial credit cards starting in 2007, causing merchants to incur excessive interchange fees. Discover denies the claims, and the parties agreed to settle to avoid litigation costs and risks.

Long Island Plastic Surgical Group Data Breach Settlement

Long Island Plastic Surgical Group's computer systems were subject to unauthorized access on or about January 4, 2024, exposing sensitive personal information of current and former patients including names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, medical information, health insurance information, clinical photographs, and payment card information. LIPSG has agreed to pay $2,600,000 and implement enhanced security measures.

EIC Stockholder Settlement

Plaintiffs sued defendants in connection with EIC Class A Common Stock. The defendants, including the Sponsor and EIC board members, have agreed to settle all claims for $17,775,000 in cash. The settlement resolves the class action without the defendants admitting any wrongdoing.

Dodge Ram 1500 EcoDiesel EGR Cooler Settlement

FCA US sold Model Year 2014-2019 Dodge Ram 1500 EcoDiesel Trucks with defective Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) coolers that crack due to thermal fatigue, causing coolant leaks that can lead to combustion in the intake manifold and vehicle fires. FCA US denies liability but has agreed to settle to avoid litigation.

LexisNexis Deceased Report Settlement

LexisNexis Risk Solutions FL Inc. reported death records about individuals who were actually alive. The company disclosed inaccurate deceased status information on consumer reports, violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

SouthState Bank Data Breach Settlement

SouthState Bank experienced an unauthorized access to its computer network on February 7, 2024, potentially exposing current and former customers' private information including names, dates of birth, addresses, telephone numbers, financial account numbers, and Social Security numbers. The lawsuit alleges the bank failed to implement proper cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive customer data. The defendant denies all wrongdoing.

Apex Data Incident Settlement

Between June 18-July 2, 2024, a cybersecurity incident at Apex Global Solutions, Inc. resulted in unauthorized access to customers' patients' private information, including names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, drivers' license numbers, financial account information, and health information. The defendant denies any wrongdoing.

Nice-Pak Products, Inc. and Professional Disposables International, Inc. suffered a cybersecurity incident between May 28, 2023, and June 15, 2023, where cybercriminals potentially accessed the companies' systems containing individuals' private information. Plaintiffs allege negligence, negligence per se, and breach of implied contract; the defendants deny any wrongdoing.

City of Gardner Coils Class Action Settlement

The City of Gardner and SUEZ Water Environmental Services supplied water to Gardner residents that allegedly caused copper heating coils in tankless hot water heating systems to fail. Plaintiff Janice Magliacane alleges this water supply issue resulted in the need for coil replacement.

Jennings v. America First Credit Union - Wage & Hour Settlement

America First Credit Union allegedly failed to pay branch employees for all hours worked, including overtime hours and time spent on pre-shift duties like opening procedures and logging in. AFCU denies the allegations and maintains it properly compensated employees. The parties settled to avoid further litigation, with no ruling on the merits and no party prevailing.

Darling v. West Coast Self Storage Unpaid Overtime Settlement

West Coast Self Storage Group allegedly failed to pay property managers for all hours worked and failed to include certain non-discretionary bonuses in calculating overtime wages in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. The company denies the allegations and settled to avoid litigation costs.

Paid Remaining settlement fund after deducting $140,000 in attorneys' fees and costs, $10,000 in General Release Payments to Plaintiffs, and payroll taxes will be allocated among settlement class members based on weeks worked as property managers.

EEOC v. Nevada Restaurant Services, Inc. Sexual Harassment Settlement
